The Seiko SNXS79 is a great budget mechanical watch option and receives praise for its dark grey sunburst dial that looks amazing when the light hits it. Although it lacks hacking and hand winding, these functions are not deal breakers for the price point. The Cons of the watch are mainly the bracelet which is not terrible but not noteworthy either. However, the Pros including the beautiful case and dial make it an excellent purchase for an all-around watch under $500. It is a fantastic piece for getting into mechanical watches despite a few Cons.
