Răspuns: 16.6 in is the individual width, when open flat against wall 50 in. i have mine standing to break up the room where I adjusted to a smaller width. -

Răspuns: It would be easy to remove one of the panels, but yes, you can fold one and just use two. I bought this a few years back. I like it very much and it held up well. -
