The device does not determine the bottom of the well depth but only the static depth of the water level. It does not have the ability to store data and requires a USB connection to download them to a computer. One customer enquired about the possibility of adding RS232 connections, which the 660 model does not have. The manufacturer recommends upgrading to the Well Watch 670 model or adding a 310 Remote Display that can wirelessly communicate with the Well Watch 660.
