The Sauder 412808 3 Shelf Bookcase is a popular and well-liked product. Customers found the material to be particle board, but it was finished smoothly and had nice square fits. One customer recommended the product for those who are looking for an inexpensive bookcase that is not made of hardwood. Assembly was easy overall, though some experienced frustration with parts not being labeled and with the instruction manual. However, an assembler team was available to aid with the task if needed. The bookshelf’s backing was the most significant weak spot, but it was deemed adequate by most customers. The bookshelf was adjustable and could fit even 15-inch storage cubes on the bottom two shelves. Customers also appreciated the sturdiness of the shelf and its adjustable shelves.
