However, some people were not comfortable using the pen because of its design. In terms of quality, the body and nibs were criticized as "low quality" and inConsistent in flow. The pen is not recommended for beginners or skilled calligraphers. Overall, seasoned Sheaffer users were happy with the product and wouldn't use any other pens.
