This Ecce Homo Embossed Solid Polished Brass Pyx is a beautifully made product, despite being manufactured in Hong Kong. The pyx has a white plastic lining inside but does not come with a burse. Users are not sure if it is suitable for holding ashes on Ash Wednesday. The clasp design is said to be poor, and the lip does not stay closed. Some clients have had the host fall out of the pyx. Despite this issue, one Eucharistic Minister claims that it is the best pyx she has ever had. One customer bought five pieces and found two of them were not working properly. The pyx measures 2" x 3/8" and features Ecce Homo, Latin for "Behold the Man." One customer advised buying a cheaper or more expensive product as the latch can break easily. Overall, it is an excellent and affordable pyx that one customer keeps in their car for emergency use.
