The lamp's arm isn't adjustable sideways, only up and down, with a swivel close to the shade. It has a soft antiqued gold finish, showing a more non-glossy appearance. A small hole can be seen at the bottom round plate when it's hardwired. It is a single lamp being sold for almost $70, and installing it is easy. However, the quality is cheap, and some customers experience difficulty keeping the lamp head in position due to it falling apart after several months of use.
