The ActionHeat 5V Men's Battery Heated Jacket with Tri-Zone Heating is a heated jacket that uses a generic battery module. It allows users to swap out the battery pack for a larger or smaller one depending on the weather and how long they plan to spend outside. However, some customers have reported issues with the product. One customer received the jacket without the battery pack, while another purchased two "jackets" but was sent two heated shirts with the same name, leading to a return for a refund. Another customer said that the heating element broke after four months of light use, and the manufacturer ignored their requests for repair post-warranty. The sticking on the Velcro on the sleeves also began to unravel shortly after purchase, and the customer had to use a safety pin to keep the sleeve cuff together on one arm. The jacket is reported to be a good product but is poorly implemented and not well thought out or tested. The quality of the jacket is not what some customers expected for a $200 jacket, and the heating elements are much smaller than what is shown in the picture, mainly heating the upper shoulders and leaving the rest of the body cold. The front pads put out a negligible amount of heat. One issue is with the lighted switch, which is always on when the heat is on. While it's a good conversation piece, some customers do not want to advertise that they're wearing a heated jacket.
