JAMES DASHNER Action & Adventure Teen & Young Adult Books Editorial Review

**** "The Death Cure," the third installment in James Dashner's Maze Runner series, has garnered significant approval from both young readers and adults alike. The excitement of diving back into the world of the Gladers resonates particularly well with younger audiences, such as a twelve-year-old girl who found immense enjoyment in the book, highlighting its appeal through engaging storytelling, suspenseful twists, and emotional moments. The narrative's balance between slow contemplative sections and action-packed scenes keeps readers invested and eager to turn pages, culminating in a satisfying wrap-up of the trilogy. Readers appreciate Dashner's skill in crafting tension and unpredictable plot developments, keeping them on the edge of their seats. While some critiques mention parts of the narrative felt slow, the overarching Consensus is that the book delivers a thrilling experience reflective of the series' style. However, a few readers noted that having watched the film adaptation prior potentially detracted from their overall reading experience. Despite this, "The Death Cure" remains a popular recommendation among fans, particularly for those who relish adventure and emotional depth in their literature. **
