Răspuns: The remote sensor must be always placed upwards so that rain won't get inside the sensor through the vent holes on the bottom of the senor. -

Răspuns: It's a tight clip at the bottom of the back panel. Lift that and the main back panel will open. -

Răspuns: It does not connect by WiFi (2.4 GHz) but by a lower ISM band 433MHz which has a much longer range especially as the antenna length is only a few cm. -

Răspuns: Switchable between Fahrenheit (-4 to 158deg) & Celcius (-20 to 70deg) via touch button on screen. -

Răspuns: The instruction manual for the thermometer states the following ranges: INDOOR -4 to +158 degrees F (-20 to +70 degrees C) OUTDOOR -58 to +158 degrees F (-50 to +70 degrees C) -

Had it November, the outside sensor is 5m from main unit no thick walls in between. But only intermittently shows an outside reading. Any suggestions?
Răspuns: I would check the batteries and maybe reposition..sheltered if in exposed place. If the signal / icon is not steady after then maybe faulty unit? -

What colour is the display screen? One picture shows blue and the other a normal background.
Răspuns: The blue screen shown is what you see momentarily if you press the backlight symbol to illuminate the screen in the dark. The normal screen is standard, i.e. black lettering on a grey background. -

Can I put the sensor inside cavity wall to monitor humidity there? I had a water leak and if it happens again I hope to detect it early.
Răspuns: I would think so, but you might be better buying a small handheld moisture detector for around £10. All you have to do is touch the 2 probes to the wall. Instant reading. Use anywhere.
