Question: Is Downfall based on a true story?

Answer: Yes, Downfall is based on the real historical events that occurred during the last days of World War II, specifically in Hitler's bunker as Berlin was falling to Allied forces. This basis in fact provides a raw and honest perspective on this dramatic chapter of history.
