Gator Frameworks Stands GFW-STREAMSTAND Editorial Review
This is a detailed review of the Gator Frameworks Deluxe Desktop Mounted Microphone and Media Boom Arm with Phone and Tablet Holder. Overall, the item is well-made, except for the mic boom, which is described as cheap. The user was disappointed that the product did not come with any 1/4-20 studs, making it impossible to mount the phone holder inside the ring light without ordering more studs. Another key issue is that it is impossible to mount the laptop tray and a monitor simultaneously due to the manufacturer only including one mounting bracket. This limitation is not disclosed in the product description or ads, and when the customer contacted Gator, they were told it was a design decision to prevent overloading the tree. The phone holder only accommodates smaller phones and will not hold an iPhone 11 Plus in a case. However, the tablet holder is decent, and the product concept is great. The instruction sheet is challenging to read due to the small print and illustrations.
