This versatile adapter also provides two additional advantages. Firstly, it can be paired with a 1.6x anamorphic lens to achieve a 2x squeeze, resulting in more pronounced anamorphic characteristics such as thinner bokeh and a shallower depth of field. This higher squeeze allows for more information to be included in the frame, offering greater flexibility for reframing in post-production.Secondly, when used with professional digital cameras like ARRI that use 4:3 sensors, the 1.25x anamorphic adapter can directly desqueeze the image to an approximate 16:9 aspect ratio. This is the universal format for modern commercials, TVCs, and more.
